What Was The First Beatles Album You Owned ?

Postby fendertele on Thu Oct 04, 2007 10:57 am

The first Beatles album i owned was SPLHCB, and it has lots of great memories attached to it, it was also the first time i had heard any music that had such i wide range of instruments, WYWY was mind blowing as i had never heard of a sitar, never mind what it sounded like. :o

For Honey_Tree and me it was simultaneously Help! and AHDN. That's actually how we discovered the Beatles :) I remember liking almost every song on Help! from the first time we listened to it :)
Would you believe me if I told you I was being followed by a Yellow Submarine?

Old guy here. 'Meet The Beatles' (yes, shorn in the USA) changed the musical world as we knew it. And we could hardly wait for the next ones.

Uh, Beatles 1, got it when I was very young. Back then, I thought that that was the only Beatles album! Haha, little did a 8 year old know.... When I became more of a fan at age 11, I got Abbey Road for my birthday, and was like, "wow there's more than album! I must get all of them now!" And I did, well except for Yellow Submarine and one of the anthologies
Hey! You've got to hide your love away!

The first one we had was Revolver. It has just some of their best music they have on there.
