What I like about Rush is that they get inspired by things. I mean, Something For Nothing - getting inspired by seeing a graffitti on the wall saying Freedom is not Free - classic! And Twilight Zone, writing a song inspired be a series. And the entire 2112 story... brilliant! 8)
And Tears is just pure Geddy Lee and I love the man!

Yep your right Honey Rod Sterling the creator of the Twilight Zone , and also the film The Planet Of The Apes was based on one of his storys , Sci Fi eh
Yes these boys are good and they love there Sci Fi and you know so do i

Great interview with Geddy Lee form 1979 from the Rush Dvd R30 i highly reconmend 8)

Excellent songs!
Did he say at the end of A Farewell to Kings, "closer to the heart"

Hm, I seem to like their lyrics more than the way they sing them... if that makes sense . :?

Heres some Rush News.

Snakes & Arrows Live Tour Concludes Tonight / Atlanta Show Filmed

The 2008 leg of the Snakes & Arrows tour kicked off April 11th in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and concludes tonight in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Snakes & Arrows Live 2CD set, featuring the full 2007 leg of the tour recorded last year in Rotterdam, was released this past April. The complimentary DVD is to be released later this year, although no official date has been announced. However, as confirmed by this official notice from FogoLabs, the band also filmed the recent July 22nd show in Atlanta in HD. According to inquires made at the show, cameramen stated they were primarily capturing the new songs introduced on the second leg for possible inclusion as bonus footage on the pending DVD release. 8)

After the brilliant 30th aniversary tour , this tour for me was a bit of a come down really and they played a lot of 80s stuff and of course the new album [ well they would ] but it will be in my little collection :D
