When i was a lad in Hyde i lived on the border of Hyde and Denton and a part of Denton which was known as Haughton Green and at the top off the long road from where i lived to Haughton Green was a pub called the Rising Sun .
And we used to sing [ well i did ]
There is a pub in Haughton Green and they call it the RisIng Sun, every time it came on the radio .
