The Old Grey Whistle Test [ the 80s ]

Postby mr kite on Fri Nov 09, 2007 9:15 pm

So how dire the 80s music scene was [ thats my opinion of course] the Whistle Test still managed to find
new great bands , and this band Lone Justice was one of them , i was very lucky to convince a friend to
go and see them in 85 didn`t want to go on my own [ i`m shy ] , and the lead singer was unbelievable and i was hooked on her . I went to see
her early this year for the 5th time. So ive been watching her for 22 years!
Maria McKee, has a great voice , a great song writer and musican , she is a real gone kid .
This is a brilliant performance , so turn it up ! i said turn it up !!
I Found Love .

And then over a cup of tea
We talked about whatever that came to our heads
That was delightful, I said

Lone Justice - Mariah McKee really does have a good voice. I like I found Love. You have her on your Mysapce, right, kitie?

King Crimson! - a music yet to be explored by me, but from what I heard so far... I love it! Frame by Frame is a ggod song, but I think there are better :?

Roy! - Great to see him live [as it were]. Same old rock never been my favourite but its a good tune. Still have to see the interview.

Gosh, this was a very late response to a thread, wasnt it? Sorry

Yeh, i do like Maria very much , she is something else to see live, and a great songwriter , its strange how she never made it big time .
Yeh she is on my myspace , and i think one day i may show you the way to listen to a great songtress . 8)
Roy and the legend that is Jimmy page . 8)
