just wondering what everyone things of morrisey and co, i listen to them nearly everyday and just love the sounds johnny marr makes from his guitar along with morriseys voice, has there ever been a more unique sounding voice ?

lol you might like them, i found them hard at first to get into cause they just sound so different then i gave them a listen when i got a little bit older and was blown away by there sound and marrs guitar work then i heard morrisey crooning and i thought damn what a band

As may know Fender The Smiths are for my neck of the woods and every man and his dog i know love them , me i dont ,sorry when they came out , i was set in stone with rock music so i never even thougnt of listening to them .

The Smiths are the greatest band to ever hail from Manchester EVER!! (Besides Spite, www.myspace.com/spitemosaic)

My favourite songs by the lads are "Asleep" "Half a person" and " I know it's over"

Simply put, they were the perfect foil for one another, much like the fab four. Four individuals, who met, and created something at PRECISELY the right moment in time.

Check those songs out, Asleep makes me want to blubber like a big girls bra!!

In the 80's, this was "MY SONG". I'm an alternative, rocker, some prog, chick who still likes c/w......country/western music and I HAVE to have the "classics"....Bach,etc...Mozart...
