Greg Lake and ELP.........

I LOVE 70's style Greg Lake with ELP. The man was just gorgeous, not to mention he's still not bad at 60. I want to share my "wealth" of pictures I have of Greg and ELP from the 1970's........and maybe a video or two....enjoy and I'm looking forward to this board.....

It took me awhile to get into E.L.P. , i think you was either a Yes man/lady or a E.l.P. man/lady but then i bought Brain salad surgery and this track did it for me .

You're right............it's either Yes or ELP. And I always preferred ELP. Love Greg's voice, Jon Anderson's gets on my "nerves"!!!!

This one is from 1977 and ELP were actually thinking of using this picture as a publicity picture!!!! Can you believe that??? Well, with Greg Lake, he always "loved" to "strip down" to his black satin bikini underwear back stage right after a show............in front of EVERYONE!!! He didn't care. Can you say, "exhibitionist"???

That's Keith Emerson on the left, and Carl Palmer on the right, with Greg in the middle. Never did see ELP in concert. Saw Yes, tho, in 1994. Great show.

"Commanding" is the word that was used the most...and this was from one of his "road wives" back in the 70's. But now, what I'm told....very nice and humble........quick to smile and never a cross word. "Down to earth".......and an avid dog lover.........he and his wife love dogs.
